M+B | Gloster House

Mike and Beth travelled over with all their family to Ireland from the UK to tie the knot in late August 2019. Their stunning venue was the 18th Century Gloster House in Co. Offaly, Birr — Their nuptials took place in the historical beautiful white chapel that is located on the grounds of Gloster House and Gardens. It was a bright summers day that felt like the South of France rather than Ireland. Gloster Country House and chapel is a photographers dream that lends itself to bright and airy photographs smoothered in dewy natural light.

I also got to meet the new furball Apollo the Third! Aside from me being obsessed with this little cute furball, the central theme of the day was one of love and family with Mike, Beth and their always smiley baby daughter Maggie central to this. Gloster House and Gardens is one of my favourite country house venues in Ireland and have shot here several times now. Looking forward to the next one early next spring.

Love Always, Niamh

A+B | Rathsallagh House

Greenery and botanical in abundance for this October Wedding! Amy and Brian married in October at Rathsallagh Country House, Wicklow. This winter wedding was filled with everything the couple love, and inspired by the gardens of Rathsallagh itself. Bringing beautiful botanicals florals from the gardens to inside the venue. Literally bringing the outside in. It was styled by the wonderfully fabulous frogprince. A talented wedding stylist company that is truly inspired by design, elegance, and of course, an incredible attention to detail. Although it rained for most of the day, their was no limit to indoor and sheltered locations on site for photographs. The couple embraced the elements and got amazing images. October is one of my favourite months, yes there can be a lot of rain, yes the ground is muddy, but you can get absolutely amazing sunsets and golden hour moments just before you go into dinner. Something we managed to capture together for Amy and Brian.

E+N | Marlfield House

Emma and Niall were such a relaxed and sweet couple to work with. They had a beautifully traditional ceremony in the Star of the Sea Church, Riverchapel followed by a lovely afternoon tea reception with guests at the beautiful Marlfield House in Gorey, Co. Wexford. Marlfield Country House is elegant with comfortable interiors, furnished with antiques and paintings. For a fine art photographer like myself it was pure bliss. The estate is set in 36 acres of woodland, ornamental lake, rose, vegetable and herb gardens, and is a haven of tranquillity. Taken in the estate grounds allowed for a relaxed portrait session for 30 minutes then followed with their family and bridal party portraits in the rose gardens. Beautiful heartfelt couple inside and out.
